Marriage Licence
In order to get married in New Zealand you need to apply for a Marriage Licence. This can be done by a simple online and payment process here: https://www.govt.nz/browse/family-and-whanau/getting-married/get-a-marriage-licence/
The Licence will cost you $150 NZD and is valid for three months from when it is issued.
If your wedding is still some time away I will provide you with a reminder to get the ball rolling with your licence three months out from your big day to make sure everything is on track.
After you have applied and paid online the official papers will be emailed to you or you can get them emailed direct to me. Once you’ve checked everything is correct, I will print these and bring with me on the day.
